Ladies,

Please accept this invitation to join us for a Women's Ministry Brainstorming Get-together!  We have a few upcoming activities and I have received a lot of wonderful ideas over the past few months.  It is very important that we identify our strengths and organize teams so that we are able to head into fall with a thriving and successful women's ministry. The purpose of a strong women's ministry is to develop relationships with other women who will in turn encourage us on our journey of becoming the woman God has called us to be and ultimately serve His body well!

I know you have ideas and experience to share. I have heard about some events that you would like to see at ACF Church, and if each of us is willing to take ownership of this ministry, we can do awesome things at ACF Church! Here are just a few ideas I've heard:

**Mommy/Children Play group during the week (especially when winter gets here)

**Reoccurring Scrap-booking nights

**Mother/Daughter events

***Sporting Events

**Quilting / Knitting Groups

**Spa Night


One event we specifically need your help on is a Secret Sister/Women's Bar-B-Que on Saturday August 14th. For those of you who don't know, ACF Women's MInistry put on an event in January where we exchanged recipes and for those interested, filled out informational sheets about ourselves and secretly drew the name of our "Secret Sister".

Over the past six months we have been faithfully praying for our Secret Sister, writing encouraging cards, exchanging gifts if we've felt led and I think it's been really fun!  Part of our upcoming Bar-B-Que will be to 'reveal' who our Secret Sister has been and re-draw names for those who would like to join in for the next six-months with a new Secret Sister.


We need your input, enthusiasm and help for this Secret Sister/Women's Bar-B-Que to come together!  Come share your ideas, strengths and gifts to deepen and grow your relationships with other women and our ACF Women's Ministry!

Kids are welcome, please join us.
