My name is Rod and I am the Lead Pastor of ACF Church. I moved to Alaska in October of 2007 with my wife Diane and our two children Michael and Lucy. Diane and I met and married in the Snoqualmie Valley in Washington State. I have a particular draw towards trivial knowledge and I enjoy fishing, hiking and running 1/2-marathons.
It is a great joy to serve alongside the people of ACF Church as we search to discover what God has planned for each of us as individuals and as a body. I firmly believe in striving to make our community a better place because of the presence of the church.

Hi, I'm the Associate Pastor of Worship and Youth Ministry here at ACF Church. I was born right here at Elmendorf Air Force Base and have since moved around the country. It's good to be back! I met my wife Amanda in Cheyenne, Wyoming where we were married. I am passionate about all things mechanical, I'm a Discovery channel junkie, I love to hunt and fish, and I enjoy spending time with my family on hikes and walks.
My vision for the church is that we would rise up to our calling as Christ followers. This means more than merely, "learning," but putting that knowledge into practice. We have a calling to bring light, life, hope, justice and love to a world in desperate need.
I heard a man once say, "If you are hated by the religious, and loved by the sinful, you might look a little like Jesus." I've carried that with me for a long time. It was a challenge to live a life of purpose and passion, instead of letting God become a routine afterthought. My heart is to become more like Christ every day. If I can "truly" love God, I'm doing pretty well! If I am able to "truly" love the people around me, I'm doing even better!
You might find me: in a local coffee shop, hanging out with youth, playing music, or welding something in the garage.

Kenny Evans
My name is Kenny Evans and I'm an associate pastor of healing and restoration at ACF church. I oversee the Life Groups and do pastoral counseling. My wife Emma, son Owen and I moved here June 2011 from Portland Oregon. Emma and I met while hiking on the Appalachian Trail and got to know each other as we hiked through 14 states. I am a potter and a sculptor and love books and good food. I love as much coffee as I can find in a day, and I would love to live a few years in Santa Cruz and London. I make my own spaghetti, baklava, and Emma makes the best scones. If I could travel and explore throughout this world I would, I love to learn how other cultures connect to God and how they worship our creator. I love exploring the diversity of people and helping people walk closer to Jesus.
A few of my favorites:
Books: "Bridging the Gap", "Guns, Germs, and Steel", most Steinbech books, Rick Bragg, and David Balducci
