Worship:Worship is a BIG thing! It's much bigger than music, lights, or speakers. Most of the time when people ask "What is worship like?" they are referring to the music. So instead of labeling our music, I'd like to tell you that worship REALLY matters to us at ACF Church. We deeply value the time when we get to sing, learn and become transformed by our God - each of these is worship. We strive to make our music modern, relevant, theologically sound and musically excellent. We play music that is brand new, as well as some that is a hundred years old. Breakaway High School Ministries: If you are in High School, this is the place for you! Welcome to Breakaway! At Breakaway, we want to join with parents in guiding High School students through their spiritual journey. Let's face it, High School can be one of the roughest times of someones life. It can also be one of the most fun and exciting times. Breakaway is a place to ask questions, have fun, make friends, and learn about how God can be one constant in an ever changing world.Our vision is to help students "Breakaway" from their parents faith, and find faith in God on their own terms. This means wrestling with tough questions, digging into the Bible and growing together. We also want to have a great time! So our meetings are fun and interactive. Come join us!
Children's Ministry:At ACF Church, we provide exciting learning opportunities for Children on Sunday mornings. When you enter the building, head downstairs and drop the kiddo's off with one of our qualified volunteers. It will be a safe and fun envirionment for kids to learn about our Creator. There will be classes for children from age 3 through 6th grade. Nursery:We also provide childcare for toddlers downstairs. You will sign your child in and be given a pager (like the ones at Applebee's) just in case Suzie has a meltdown. Your little one will be cared for until you return after the service. Cry Room:We also offer a cry room in the back of the sanctuary for nursing mothers or vocal children. Please feel free to use this room at any time. Sunday Morning MinistryIt takes teams of people to make Sunday Morning's happen around ACF Church. Two of the most important teams are our Coffee and Greeter teams. Coffee:One of the first things people do when they enter ACF Church is grab themselves a nice hot cup of Java. If you can come early and make coffee, this team is for you! Greeter:Are you friendly? Can you shake hands with ease? Do your friends think you talk too much? Well, you may be made for Greeter ministry. It's important that everyone who visits ACF Church is welcomed and made to feel at home. Every person that walks through our doors is of great value to God and to us. Our greeters do a variety of things on Sundays to help our gatherings happen.
