But especially lately we know that life can get pretty dark sometimes. Alaska is the darkest state in the nation, and mental illness is currently on the rise. As a church, we exist to spread hope to the world, so we launched the Hope to Alaska Initiative. The number one reason people stop pursuing the counseling they need is because they can’t afford it.
