Deep breath, ACF - it’s go time for 2026! We’ve reflected and looked forward this past week, and today we get to gather again as the church for the first time since Christmas Eve services! We pray that this week has felt like the deep breath before the plunge back into the rhythms that define your daily life. And as we re-enter our rhythms, what if you carried something new with you into this year? What if you bathed 2026 in prayer?

The beautiful thing about prayer is that it’s not a “new level unlocked” - it’s a practice, an ebb and flow of growth and relationship closer and closer to your Father God. As we wrap up reflections week today, spend some time remembering this: “Nothing of eternal value is ever accomplished apart from prayer.” Whatever that next step is you’re pondering, that goal you’re going after, or that hope that’s planted for this year, don’t pursue it without prayer. Because in prayer is where we will encounter the God who wants to walk through all those things with us.

As we wrap up Reflections Week, let’s spend today throwing all our hopes back on God - not on our resolutions or dreams for 2026, but on Him. Consider setting a timer this morning and practice giving him praise the WHOLE time. May this be the deep breath we take - lungs full of the presence of the Living God - before we jump back in.
