Here are the words I want you to savor this morning: Your faith is not silly.

How easy it is to wonder if we're just being foolish, putting all our eggs in the Jesus basket. This idea of all-in, audacious hope in God's salvation can feel crazy at times, but this morning, I encourage you to take a moment to reflect with God in prayer on why he's worth putting our trust in.

Paul needed to affirm this truth to his people too. In Romans 10:11, he assures them, "As the Scriptures tell us, 'Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced'" (NLT).

Never.

‍

Never will it have been a fool's hope.

‍

Never will you realize you've thrown your lot in with the wrong God.

‍

With Jesus, never will you have to feel your stomach drop, realizing you made a horrible mistake.

‍

Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.

‍

It makes me think of bird song. Do you think a single one of them has ever thought, Man, I hope creation likes my song today! No, they just sing, because it's what they were made to do. What if today, like the birds of the morning, you allowed your trust in your Creator to just be what you were made for?

Talk to the Lord in prayer right now and ask him to renew your faith and strengthen your trust in him today.
